Renew an Ongoing Fee Agreement (Service Agreement Wizard)
Use this step-by-step guide to renew an existing ongoing fee arrangement via the Service Agreement Wizard.
Steps

Service Agreement Wizard
- Go to a Client
- Go to Advice Wizards.
- Select 3. Implement the Client.
- Select Service Agreement.

Create a new scenario
- Enter a scenario name (e.g.
Scenario August 2025
).
- Click Create Scenario.
- From the scenario dropdown, choose Renewal of an existing Agreement (or Initial Agreement if this is a new ongoing fee agreement)

Enter/confirm service description
- Check the Reference Date, Note: ensure this is kept as the current Reference Date and only update this date after you generate the renewal document and have received consent from your client.
- In the service text area, provide a concise description of the ongoing advice to be renewed.
- Click Next.

Add Remuneration
- Click Add.
- Select Client → Ongoing Advice.
- For fee type, choose the relevant fee

Validate, save, and merge the agreement
- Review tabs to confirm details (e.g. Client → Service Agreement → Pages → Scenario Index → Service Agreement Details → Remuneration).
- Click Save, then Next.
- Select Merge Service Agreement and click OK to generate the document.
Quick checklist (before sending to client)
- Ensure you have selected whether this is a Renewal of an existing Agreement OR Initial Agreement.
- Service description accurately reflects the renewed scope.
- Account/fund, fee type and account number is entered where applicable
- Reference date is correct as all date calculation in the merge will be based of the next reference date. This date should not be updated forward until after the generation of this document and once the client consents to the fee agreement
- Merged document reviewed for accuracy and formatting.
Need to adjust? You can reopen the scenario to update service lines, fee basis, or text, then re-merge the agreement to produce an updated document.
