How is a liability treated in the needs analysis when ‘Joint’ is selected as the owner?

For the purpose of the needs analysis, it doesn’t matter who owns the liability.  The amount entered into the input page of the analysis will be included in the cover amount required regardless of the ownership.

For example, if it has been inputted into the client needs page, this indicates that the amount covered will be paid out if an insured event occurs to the client.
